Frequently Asked Questions:

• Guest Parking

  • Please park in the Guest Parking spots which are located on the street by the Sanctuary.  We want you to have the prime parking spot.

• How should I dress for church?

  • We are casual so please just be comfortable.

• Do you provide a nursery?

  • We provide two childcare professionals in the nursery from 8:15 until 11:15 on Sundays for your convenience.  The nursery is located adjacent to the sanctuary and an usher will gladly walk you there and introduce  to a childcare worker.

• Are children welcome in the worship service?

  • We are an intergenerational church and welcome children of all ages to be part of the worship service.

• Can I visit a small group on Sunday morning?

  • Yes!  Small groups are a great way to build relationships and get connected to the church.  Our small groups meet at 8:45 a.m. in the Christian Family Life Center, located across the street from the Sanctuary.  Small groups are available for children ages 4 through 5th grade, youth 6th grade through 12th grade, and adults. 

• I have never been baptized, or I want my child to be baptized. Will you baptize us?

  • Please talk with Pastor David at your convenience and he will discuss baptism with you.  The Methodist Church baptizes children and adults.

• When is Communion served?

  • Communion is served during the 10:00 Sunday morning worship services on the first Sunday of each month.  The Methodist Church offers an “open table” and invites all that love the Lord to participate in Holy Communion.

• When and how can I become a member of Coldspring Methodist Church?

  • You may join the church at any time – the invitation is always open.  You can join in the following ways:
    • During Sunday worship – come forward at the end of the worship service during the invitation given by the Pastor.
    • Other than Sunday – Call the church office and arrange a time to meet with Pastor David.
